MIASTECZKO ORANGE is one of the most modern office complexes in Poland located in Warsaw at 160 Jerozolimskie Avenue, which has been the headquarters of the Orange Group since September 2013. Since the beginning of this investment, Orange Group has been the exclusive tenant of the complex. All buildings have been tailored to the tenant’s requirements on a build-to-suit basis. The office building was designed by renowned architect Stanislaw Fiszer. The usable area of the building reaches 45 thousand square meters, and the total area is 81.5 thousand square meters. The complex includes five buildings connected to each other at the ground and second floor level. Each of them has 6 floors. The underground parking lot accommodates more than 1,050 cars and 120 bicycles. The office town is a workplace for 3,500 people. Employees can use a specially designed canteen with more than 300 seats, equipped kitchens, a cafeteria or a fitness room. There is also a grocery store on the premises. There is no shortage of places to relax – a wooded garden with a fountain and wooden terrace also serves this function.
After a long and complex process of selection and choice of supplier, in which more than 40 bidders took part, finally the supply of furniture equipment to the Miasteczko Orange complex in Warsaw was entirely commissioned to one contractor – Human Office Polska. It was the largest single logistics project in office furniture trading in Europe. This meant that no company in Poland had previous logistics experience of this size, and it was necessary to prepare professionally for such an implementation. In the end, after a lot of analysis and optimization, we completed this implementation in just 14 days, proving that our company excels in this type of task. Our experience, goal-directedness and excellent teamwork resulted in the completion of such a large investment according to the client’s expectations and on schedule. The numbers related to the implementation of this project are interesting: the total distance covered by our trucks is 130,000 route kilometers. The entire Human Office team of a total of 200 people was divided into groups commanding the various scopes of the project’s implementation and, working at the facility, covered a total of 31,500 kilometers on foot. Each of us traveled an average of 15 kilometers a day. Ultimately, we supplied and installed 3,500 employee workstations and 5,050 chairs and armchairs, as well as many other pieces of equipment at the facility. We have furnished 45,000 square meters of office space on 30 floors in 5 buildings. We used 2,000 m2 of HDF boards and 45 kg of screws to secure the transport sites. During implementation, we were obviously concerned about environmental issues. We conducted waste segregation at the facility and collected 40 containers segregated for waste collection.
The result of our work is the beautiful interiors of the City of Orange, which are shown in the attached photographs. Keeping in mind our motto: Human Office – office furniture for us is not everything, we carried out this project with the knowledge that the most important thing is people and creating the best possible environment for them to work.
